What We Recycle

Regal Recycling is committed to providing safe and responsible disposal of used computer equipment for both individuals and companies.

Ensuring the safety and security of your data is our top priority throughout the process.

To ensure complete data destruction, Regal Recycling employs two methods when processing any device that could contain older data:

  • Devices that are to be remarketed are put through a time-tested DOD-wipe or factory reset process, effectively destroying all data and making it unrecoverable. This process can occur either on-site for your verification or off-site through Safe Data Destruction.

  • Devices that are not re-marketable are physically destroyed, rendering the data unrecoverable. This process can also occur on-site or off-site through Safe Data Destruction.

Our aim is to provide a convenient recycling service at little to no cost for individual consumers. For businesses looking to dispose of electronic equipment, we encourage you to contact us to arrange appointments and transportation.

Environmental Disposal

At Regal Recycling, we understand that waste doesn't simply disappear once it's been discarded. That's why we prioritize meeting and exceeding United States EPA regulations in all that we do.

The computer industry is notorious for its harmful materials, such as lead and mercury. To combat this, we make every effort to keep equipment in circulation for as long as possible. When equipment can no longer be used, whether due to malfunction or age, we strive to recycle it accordingly. If recycling is not an option, we ensure that the equipment is disposed of properly in accordance with current EPA guidelines. Additionally, we offer documented indemnification of risk upon request.

Our recycling service is designed to be as convenient as possible. We provide this service at little to no cost for consumers disposing of computer equipment. For businesses looking for disposal solutions for their old electronic equipment, we encourage you to contact us to discuss and schedule appointments and transportation arrangements.

Committed to Safe and Sustainable Recycling Practices

Why Us?

One of the most important standards used in dealing with data destruction is the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Guidelines for Media Sanitization (Special Publication 800-88). This standard provides organizations with a strong principle for making practical and universal sanitization decisions based on the level of confidentiality of their information. Breaking down media Sanitization into three distinct categories, Wiping, Purging, and Destruction, it allows organizations to determine the level of data destruction they feel most comfortable with. In following the NIST standard, Accurate IT Services ensures our customers that their data destruction needs are met with the utmost care and professionalism.

At Regal Recycling, data security is our number one priority. We understand that sensitive information could be compromised if storage devices are not handled in an appropriate and responsible manner. This is why we hold a standard operating procedure for data security, which includes rendering all storage devices physically inert upon our processing stage through disfigurement, dismantling, and recycling. As well, all asset tags, information, and data are removed. This process is documented through our certificates of data destruction, which are provided to customers upon processing. We also use Department of Defense (DoD) software to purge all information contained on storage devices on top of our free physical destruction.
